On the eve of India’s 76th Republic Day, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the nation.

Celebrating 75 Years of India’s Glorious Republic

In his message, Shri Birla acknowledged the significant milestones achieved by the nation in its 75-year journey as a modern republic. Highlighting progress across diverse sectors such as agriculture, education, sports, defense, and space exploration, he noted that India has emerged stronger, more prosperous, and self-reliant.

“Our Republic has become a beacon of innovation and growth,” he remarked, crediting the youth of the nation for driving progress with new thinking and creativity. Shri Birla also emphasized the role of women, farmers, laborers, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs in making India the world’s fifth-largest economy, poised to soon rank third globally.

A Call for Collective Responsibility

The Lok Sabha Speaker urged citizens to strengthen the democratic ideals of freedom, equality, justice, and fraternity. “Every citizen should pledge to actively participate in the democratic process to ensure the prosperity of our Republic,” he said.

Honoring India’s Legacy

Shri Birla paid homage to the great personalities who contributed to India’s independence and the creation of its Constitution. He concluded his message with a call to unity and patriotism, offering his best wishes for the Republic Day celebrations.
