Amrit Udyan’s Summer Annuals Open to Public from August 16: New Attractions and Special Access Days Announced

Amrit Udyan, the iconic garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan, will open its gates for the Summer Annuals from August 16 to September 14, 2025, offering a lush celebration of nature and tranquility in the heart of the capital.

Visitors will be welcomed daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:15 PM), with the garden remaining closed on Mondays for maintenance.

🎉 Special Days of Honour:

To mark National Sports Day and Teachers’ Day, special access will be granted to:

  • Sportspersons on August 29

  • Teachers on September 5

This unique gesture celebrates their contributions to India’s progress and well-being.

  • Entry/Exit: Gate No. 35 (North Avenue Road side)

  • Entry Fee: Free

  • Booking: visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in

  • Walk-ins: Register at Self-Service Kiosks outside Gate 35

Note: All other items are prohibited inside the Udyan.

This year’s highlight is the “Babbling Brook”—a newly introduced landscaped zone offering a blend of art, water, and wellness:

  • A meandering stream with cascades, stepping stones, and a reflecting pool

  • A tranquil Banyan Grove with reflexology paths, Panchtatva trails, and immersive forest sounds

  • A soothing Herbal and Plumeria Garden with grass mounds and curated plantings for sensory enrichment
