A section of Dharwad witnessed traffic disruption today after Jubilee Circle was blocked due to an ongoing strike by job aspirants.
According to sources on the ground, a group of students and employment seekers gathered at the circle as part of their demonstration demanding the filling of vacant government posts. The gathering led to the temporary blockage of vehicular movement at the busy junction, causing traffic congestion in surrounding areas.
Police personnel were deployed at the spot to manage the situation and regulate traffic flow. Commuters were advised to take alternate routes as authorities worked to ease congestion.
