The Ministry of Women and Child Development showcased an inspiring tableau at the Republic Day 2025 Parade, symbolizing maternal care, life cycle continuity, and women-led development. The centerpiece of the display featured a mother cradling her daughter, representing the pivotal role of women in nurturing future generations.

The tableau highlighted key initiatives under the Ministry’s umbrella, including the Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan Abhiyaan programs, aimed at eradicating malnutrition and fostering a healthier future for children and mothers. Vibrant imagery of fresh produce like fruits, vegetables, grains, and milk underlined the transformative impact of these schemes on nutrition and community welfare.

A Tribute to Women-Led Development

The display powerfully narrated the Ministry’s vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” (Developed India 2047) by spotlighting flagship schemes such as the One Stop Centre, Women Helpline (181), Child Helpline (1098), and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. These initiatives encompass women’s safety, empowerment, child welfare, and access to health, education, and nutrition.

The tableau also commemorated 10 years of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and 50 years of the Anganwadi Scheme, emphasizing the unwavering support of initiatives like PM CARES for Children, Palna, and the Scheme for Adolescent Girls. Women’s active participation in modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, symbolized their evolving roles in a progressive India.

“Shakti Swaroop” and the Empowered Woman

At the core of the tableau was the depiction of “Shakti Swaroop” (Powerful Form), representing the empowered Indian woman as strong, resilient, and capable of excelling in any profession, from science and technology to space exploration. This portrayal celebrated the multitasking abilities and strength of today’s women, reinforcing the message that “Sashakt Naari, Sashakt Bharat” (Empowered Women, Empowered India).

With its vibrant visuals and compelling narrative, the Ministry’s tableau stood as a testament to the critical role of women in building a strong, empowered nation.
